I have just been to see 'The Imposter'. It is an extremely interesting film in terms of narrative structure and filming techniques, particularly the use of talking heads, pacing and control of tension. I agree with some of Peter Bradshaw's review, but disagree with his assessment of the third act. I would like to discuss the film in greater detail in class, so do go and see it if you can. It is particularly important for those of you who studied Film 4 last year, as this is from their recent stable of work under their new leader...
